Botox Courses Aberdeen

Botox Courses Aberdeen

MATA are thrilled to bring Level 7 BOTOX® training to Aberdeen! It’s no secret that the demand for BOTOX® and other injectable aesthetic treatments has increased rapidly in recent years. With this demand comes a demand for skilled, legitimate practitioners.
Have you been looking to begin or advance your training within the aesthetics field? Now you can train with the multi award winning, London based Medical Aesthetics Training Academy (MATA) in the comfort of your own city. MATA has long had an established presence in the UK’s capital but now the academy is expanding its expertise in training and certification to service all major cities in the country. We are extremely excited to be able to bring our globally recognised training to Aberdeen so even the very North of Great Britain have access to the best in aesthetics.

BOTOX® Training Courses Aberdeen

MATA was established with a vision to improve safety standards and levels of ethical practice in the aesthetics industry. As a training academy we prioritise safety in all that we do, because of this, the industry-recognised Level 7 qualification goes above and beyond the HEE 2016 Guidelines.
The basis for our course is built around developing in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and demonstrating attention to safety.
To begin, delegates will have access to MATA’s comprehensive, university standard Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) this ensures relevant theory has been covered before moving onto practical sessions.
Once moving on to Aberdeen based practical sessions, MATA will provide fresh cadaverous materials for our delegates to practice technique on, before eventually giving the opportunity to progress onto live volunteer patients. We want anyone training with us to leave feeling confident in their ability to treat patients safely and effectively. In order to achieve this we feel plenty of hands-on, practical experience is the best and quickest way.
MATA will only ever award certification once evidence of sufficient practical application is achieved, which we make sure every attendee is equipped to do. Our proven blended learning approach gives delegates a full understanding of BOTOX® treatments as they are practiced today.

Botox Injections and Dermal Fillers

Our BOTOX® training courses work perfectly as a package with our Dermal Filler courses, so much so that the majority of delegates study both on one of our double weekend courses. Because at a foundation level both take facial anatomy understanding as a starting point, it makes a lot of sense to undertake the theory aspects of the course with both BOTOX® and Dermal Fillers in mind. Trainees will build on this knowledge to eventually build a solid skill-set enabling them to safely treat all areas of the face.

MATA’s Foundation and Advanced levels can both be used when building towards our UK Level 7 Botox Qualification, an industry and A SQA recognised qualification which is Level 11 on the Scottish CreditQualifications Framework.

Why Train with MATA?

Before undertaking any training to begin or advance your journey to becoming an injectable practitioner, you will want to ensure that you are receiving the best training possible. Whilst there are a few options available in Scotland and even Aberdeen, none can rival MATA’s industry advancing courses and qualifications.

MATA emphasise safety in everything we do, from training delegates to use safe techniques to ensuring anyone walking away with a MATA certificate knows how to manage any possible side effects and complications which may arise.

We are thrilled to be a medical training organisation that is leading the way in education and going beyond basic government requirements on safety guidelines. Our courses are internationally recognised, helping you to excel your aesthetics skills and career wherever you may go.

When desiring a career in facial aesthetics we know that a practical approach provides the best results. And so, unlike most other training courses in the industry,  our delegates have the chance to undertake cadaveric dissection on fresh frozen material to gain experience before moving on to injecting live models.

Upon completing your MATA training you will receive a certificate which is recognised by all of the main insurance bodies. We encourage all our delegates to stay within the MATA learning community by sharing our forums and discussions as part of career time learning and development.

Aberdeen Points of Interest

In the medical industry Aberdeen is held to high acclaim. Home to the University of Aberdeen, a thriving medical school boasting one of the biggest clinical sites in Europe with extensive research facilities, study affiliations with the city will of course support your reputation.
But Aberdeen is not just a fantastic place to study, it is a wonderful place to visit with a huge number of attractions. Whilst you are in the city there are so many charms it would be a shame not to see.
The city has been noted countless times for its distinctive architecture, largely to do with the mile long Union Street which is entirely lined by classic buildings built out of granite.
Aberdeen has not just one ‘Old Town’ but two. The first being Old Aberdeen where the University of Aberdeen was founded in 1945 and the cobbled streets lead to the 15th century cathedral. The second is known as Footdee, a small fishing quarter surrounded by tiny, brightly painted cottages.
The place is cosmopolitan and well connected with people from all over the world living working and studying. Not just a city, it’s also coastal offering the unique experience of ships docking next to the city centre streets and stretches of golden sand running from the heart of the city up to the high cliffs towards the south.
Other notable attractions are the Gordon Highlanders Museum, Johnston Gardens and Lin O’ Dee, a breath taking geological formation.
