Any Questions?

  1. I want to start an aesthetics business, is foundation training right for me?

Our foundation training is a fantastic introduction for you for entering the aesthetics industry. We have tailored our training to suit medical professionals by covering the core theory and giving you the right ratio of practical experience. Additionally, many delegates go on to complete our MATA Level 7 Diploma in Facial Aesthetics: Incorporating OTHM Level 7 Certificate in Clinical Injectable Therapies, which sets you apart in the crowd, weighted as 60 credits, nearly twice than that of our certificate. Therefore, we aim to give you the skills to transition within the aesthetics industry and will even ensure you learn the skills to begin your own aesthetics business.

  1. Are the Glasgow training facilities any different than the London clinic?

Of course, there are some differences in the building structure and design of the clinics. However, the core content is essentially the same and follows strict educational guidelines. Saliently, in both locations, we use state-of-the-art facilities aiming to accommodate your professional needs.

  1. When will I be able to practice on my patients?

As soon as you have completed the Foundation training, you are adept at going on to begin practicing with patients. Many medical professionals complete the Foundational Courses along with practising on patients in their own time, in some cases, to raise finances when enrolling for our MATA Level 7 Diploma in Facial Aesthetics: Incorporating OTHM Level 7 Certificate in Clinical Injectable Therapies.

  1. Do I really need to complete the core theory on the virtual learning environment (VLE) before attending practical sessions?

At the end of the day, it is entirely up to; however, we only recommend that you do complete the core theory online as method of preparation for you before actually attending our courses. Practice makes perfect and at the end of day, the more core theory you complete before attending our practical days ensures more time to practice on live models.

  1. How will these courses prepare me to become risk-averse using Botox and Dermal Fillers?

Our approach to teaching is centred around being risk-averse, where we teach you how to proficiently manage any complications that may arise. Our core theory also includes a section on complications; however, we go into further depth in both the advanced training courses and as part of our Level 7 Diploma in Facial Aesthetics: Incorporating OTHM Level 7 Certificate/Diploma in Clinical Injectable Therapies.

  1. Can I reschedule my training if someone was to prevent me from attending?

Absolutely, yes, we can, if you give us enough time, we will be able to reschedule and slot you into a future slot.

  1. Do you offer any 1:1 training?

Yes, we do, and we can accommodate your needs, if our contact a MATA representative, we will be able to arrange something.

  1. How will I be assessed?

We use a blended approach for our courses by using direct observational practices (DOPs), short answer questions (SAQs), end-of-unit reviews to fully solidify your learning throughout course.

  1. What are the next steps if I fail an assessment?

We tend to try and guide you through the entire course, but if you were to fail, then we would be able to process an appeal or referral.

  1. Does the Foundation Training Courses, account towards anything?

Firstly, the foundation courses can count towards the Level 7 Certificate or can be completed as part of the MATA Level 7 Diploma in Facial Aesthetics: Incorporating OTHM Level 7 Certificate in Clinical Injectable Therapies.
